This series looks at the idea that our greatst enemy is often ourselves, that we are often the monster inside of us. Be it anger, or fear, or just following our heart, we can do the most damage to ourselves. But, often those fears or anger are caused by others. How do we reconcile forgiving others who hurt us, while not downplaying the hurt we have?
The big idea’s for these weeks:
Week 1 – It’s ok to not be ok, but Jesus loves you too much for you to stay that way.
Week 2 – the remedy for anger is forgiveness and confession.
Week 3 – following your heart will leave you wanting, you must lead your heart to Jesus.
Weel 4 – as we trust in God more, we will conquer our fears.
