I can’t believe it’s going to be 2018 soon, and writing that title with #OC18 was a bit surreal as I remember writing blog posts for #OC11, back when hashtags we’re a very different thing.
The 2018 Orange Conference is coming up soon and there is no better time to sign up than right now. In fact, if you sign up by December 14, you can save $70 per person AND get some extra content from the Orange Tour. It’s a great deal.
Today, I just wanted to be short and sweet on why you should make plans to be at the Orange Conference. If you have been, you probably already have tickets booked because it is SO good, but if you’ve never been, let me tell you why you NEED to go grab tickets this week.
First off, as already mentioned, you can save $70 per person when you register this week!
Second off, the theme this year is going to be another great one. I’m always amazed at how amazing of a job the orange team does in making every single aspect of the conference revolve around one common idea, played out in multiple facets. This years theme is “One Voice – We can do more together.” I can already tell it’s going to be a monumental, game changing conference for those who attend.
Third, it will grow you as a leader. Seriously, I’ve never come back from an Orange Conference without being able to pinpoint ways I will grow as a leader, and grow our effectiveness as a ministry, if I implement what I learned. The Phase theme was a few years ago, and it’s impacted so much of how I do ministry, as well as countless ministries around the world, and is such a clear example of impact from one conference going out.
I’ve got several friends in ministry who always push back when I invite them to the conference that “I don’t use their curriculum, so I wouldn’t get much out of it.” And it can’t be stated enough, Orange makes curriculum, and it’s talked about a bit at the conference, but this is not a conference on how to use their curriculum! The curriculum helps push some of the stuff you’ll learn at the conference, but I went for years without ever using a page of the curriculum. Give it a shot, try the conference this year, and you’ll be amazed at what you’ve been missing out on!
