Free Youth Ministry Resource: Fall Kick-off Prayer Cards

Praying together as a Youth Group or a church for a common goal is one of the greatest things a Youth Ministry can do. So to help you kick off the Fall in a spirit of prayer, today we are sharing with you a Free Youth Ministry Resource that comes from our newest contributor, Youth Pastor Frank Gil.

But thats not all, included in the download you will also get the files to his favorite font (which just so happens to be one of ours as well!), to be able to edit the prayer cards for your youth ministry.

  1. We usually do prayer stations, and one of the stations weve done in the past involving being the light of the world, we bought outdoor string lights from target that had like 20 mini twist in bulbs on a strand. We had a few strands strung throughout a room almost like a web and started with just one buib screwed in and on, and students who wanted to be the light of the world grabbed a bulb and screwed it in, to where eventualy the room went from near pitch black to really bright.

  3. I have been struggling with my churches budget - they are telling me that if I have funds left in the money my youth have fundrased then I have to use that before I can use the money the church has budgeted. This has come up with my mission trip account. Each youth had to raise $625 to cover all the expenses for their mission trip. I have adults that raise extra money or donate to put into the fund and want it to go towards the youth that have a hard time raising that money. I always try to keep extra in that fund so that I have a cushion to fall on for deposits, etc. But the church said that as long as there is money in that account I can not use the budgeted money to pay for the bus transportation. They only budget $5000 for the youth mission trip and every year I have at least 50 people going on the trips, so that is a lot of money we are fundraising (at least $31,000) so I really do not feel $5000 is too much for the church to budget, but I guess they do not see it that way. And then I hear "too many fundraisers going on" but yet I can't use the budgeted... hmmmmm. Anyone else have these issues?
